My Stories
Learning the Rhythm
"Learning the Rhythm" I wrote in my Advance Fiction Creative Writing Class in the Fall of 2018. The story is just under three pages long and is about a boy practicing on the edge of a cliff struggling to do it perfectly as his grandfather wants him to. The story was work shopped by my class mates and teacher, and then edited.
The Jetty
"The Jetty" is a screenplay that I wrote as a personal project to keep my writing skills polished. It is the longest piece on here coming in at around 13 pages. I had a handful of friends and fellow writers peer review it for me several times. It follows Henry and the evolution of his relationship with Alex, starting with a fateful meeting between the two when they were young.
I was Going to Take it Seriously This Time
"I was Going to Take it Seriously This Time" was written in my Intermediate Fiction Creative Writing Class in the Fall of 2017. It is about a disturbed young adult name Joey who exists on the fringe of society and hates it. He seems to be seeking help but his ideology is poisonous and volatile. This story was work shopped by my class mates and teacher, and then edited and is about 7.5 pages long.
Doesn't Interest Everyone
"Doesn't Interest Everyone" was written in my Advance Fiction Creative Writing Class in the Fall of 2018. It follows the clashing personalities of a gifted but disenchanted student and the Dean of the magical school he attends. This story was work shopped by my class mates and teacher, and then edited. It is just over seven pages long.
Powerless
"Powerless" was written as a flash fiction homework assignment in which I only had one week to write it before submitting it. It was red marked by my teacher and then handed back to me after which I edited the piece. It is the thoughts of a boy who finds himself face to face with a dangerous beast and the thoughts he has as he struggles to fight it. It is 1.5 pages long.
